Local Community Supported Agriculture farmers gather to promote their CSA shares to the public
Numerous farmers will be sharing information about their CSA shares while inviting the community members to join in on a purchase of fresh, locally grown produce and other agricultural products. The public will be able to talk to the farmers and learn directly from them about their production practices and CSA model in order to choose a CSA that would fit their lifestyle.
Entertainment, craft beverage samples and REAL FARMERS will be available!
WHAT IS CSA?
Traditional CSA operations are designed to create a close relationship between a farm and its customers. By joining in, the members support a local farm with an upfront financial commitment to buy its produce.The money goes directly to farmers, providing them with an infusion of crucial cash for the new season investment to purchase i.e. new seeds or technology upgrades. In turn, the members receive fresh, local produce agricultural products.
The new members will have plenty to choose from including locally grown healthy, fresh vegetables, small fruits, other food items, or even flower bouquets. Come and join us!
There will be
live music, tasting of locally crafted beverages and, most importantly, REAL FARMERS!

Benefits of Community Supported Agircluture
1. High quality, fresh, nutritious food: CSA produce is often harvested
within days or hours of delivery, meaning produce retains more
nutritional value and stays fresher longer.
2. Direct connection to producers: You can directly ask farmers about their growing practices and make choices to purchase from farmers that align with their values
3. Introduction to new varieties: CSAs offer what is plentiful and in season, which is a great way to get introduced to new crops you might not have tasted otherwise
4. Becoming a part of a CSA connects you to likeminded consumers and allows you to participate in a more localized food system.
This often includes the opportunity to participate in
on-farm events for a farm’s “community” members.
