4-H Career Explorations

NYS 4-H Career Explorations & College Experience Program is a three-day event for youth on the Cornell University campus. The purpose of this program is to provide youth with exposure to academic fields and career exploration, to develop leadership skills, to provide hands-on experience in a college setting and to introduce you to Cornell University. The event is made up of two grade specific tracts: University U for youth entering grades 8 - 9 and Focus for Teens for youth entering grades 10-12.

Open to any NYS teen (grades 8-12) Space is limited; registration is accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Financial Assistance may be available. Transportation & chaperone costs included, 50% refund before May 31st, NO refunds after June 1st.

  • Program Facts - registration information and program descriptions. 
  • Registration Form for families - Use this to prepare your registration information. Youth and families should register through their local CCE 4-H office (look here to find yours!).
    • Registration for Focus Programs is first-come, first-serve. Some programs fill up fast.
    • CCE Educators can register participants starting April 1, 2019.
    • Scholarship applications are due May 1, 2019.
    • Registration closes June 1, 2019.
  • Code of Conduct - Youth and adult volunteers should sign this. CCE Educators, please upload to 4-H Online.
  • Permission Slip - Everyone (youth and adults) should fill this out. CCE Educators, please upload to 4-H Online.

Fee

$390 for 4-H members; $425 for non-4-H members
