Learn How to Create Botanically Printed Postcards & Bookmarks!
Take a step outside and witness the bright botanical colors in nature that surround us. Colorful flower petals, rich green leaves and stems, plants add beauty to our landscape.

Join educators Jessica and Lori to learn how to celebrate this beauty through printing. Capture the bright colors and shapes of plants onto postcards and bookmarks.
Registered participants will receive a printing kit including postcards and bookmarks on which they can display their creations. Learn about the parts of a plant and processes essential to all life on earth through art.

Participants will need to prepare some items at home for this workshop. Please prepare a hammer, a hard surface to hammer on (such as a piece of wood or a wooden or plastic cutting board), and a towel for the workshop. Participants will also receive an email prior to the workshop with information on how to safely gather flowers & leaves to use to make their art.

This project will be enjoyed equally by participants from ages 5 to 105.

*Interested participants from outside Monroe County are welcome to participate, but due to postal delays be aware that supplies are not guaranteed to arrive in time for the workshop.
