Support our Programs!

Since 1913, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County (CCE-MC) has responded to the needs of local residents with unbiased, research-based information, tools and education that people have come to depend on and trust. Our programs are developed in direct response to community input, and are based on the most current information available from Cornell and other Land Grant universities from across the nation. CCE-Monroe connects people with the information they need on topics such as commercial and consumer agriculture; nutrition and health; youth and families; diagnostic pest and disease control, and more.

Often consumers are inundated with information, much of it digital, that is biased, inaccurate, or irrelevant. CCE-Monroe provides our community personalized education programs, resources, and community services in order to increase knowledge and acquire enhanced life skills utilizing unbiased Cornell-based leading edge research and specialists.

CCE-Monroe is a nonprofit agency with an educational mission to translate and deliver the research of our State's Land Grant University to the local community. We are both publicly and privately supported and depend upon generous donations from those who value the educational programming and resources we provide.

Your donations support our farmers, ensure local food access, promote healthy communities, positively affect our local economy through development of agri-tourism opportunities, and bring neighbors together through shared educational experiences. Additionally, the 4-H Youth Development programming we provide empowers our youth with the skills needed to lead for a lifetime.
