Help Us Bridge the Gap — Support CCE Monroe’s Vital Programs
At Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County (CCE Monroe), we are on the front lines of supporting our community through hands-on nutrition education, youth and family outreach, and workforce development. These programs change lives, from helping families stretch their food dollars and eat healthier, to preparing teens and adults for long-term success in the workforce.
But to keep these programs strong and accessible, we need your help.
CCE Monroe is not funded by Cornell University. A modest 30% of our budget comes from government support, our main partner being Monroe County (for which we are incredibly thankful), the remaining 70% relies on competitive grants, contracts, and donations from people like you. And right now, we’re facing a $150,000 funding gap due to shifts in federal priorities and growing local demand.
This shortfall puts proven programs like SNAP-Ed at risk, programs that empower low-income families to make healthier choices and build lasting habits for a better future.
Your donation can help ensure that:
Together, we can make sure Monroe County families aren’t left behind. Help us raise $150,000 to keep these programs going strong. Every gift brings us closer to a healthier, more resilient community.
Thank you for your support!
