3,2,1, Blast-off! Celebrate the 2020 4‑H STEM Challenge by coding an Insight from Mars!
When astronauts travel to space, they communicate every day with mission control about what they see and what they learn. This is your opportunity to imagine that you are the first human explorer on Mars. Led by New York State Computer Science Specialist Kat Leo, youth will create a "transmission to Earth" using the introductory programming language, Scratch.
This activity is part of the 2020 4-H STEM Challenge, Mars Base Camp. Recommended for youth in grades 3-8.
Registration required by Monday, October 19. Registration link below.
