4-H Conifer Clamber

  • Saturday, March 19, 2022, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM

On this expedition the 4-H team will explore the world of conifers and learn what makes these species of trees so special and important! The activity will include finding pine, fir, spruce, and hemlock trees in the park.

This "Spark" activity can help you complete one of the missions for the Monroe County 4-H Save the Snowpeople Challenge!

Participate in this workshop and check this task off your mission checklist: Identify and record 3 conifer tree species by examining the needles and cones (conifers provide valuable shade for melting Snowpeople!)

This event is open to all youth ages 5 to 19. You do not need to be an enrolled 4-H member to be part of the day.
