Rochester was a very important place on the Underground Railroad-- the network of routes, places, and people that helped enslaved people in the American South escape to the North and Canada in the mid-19th century.
During this session, youth will learn about the Underground Railroad and the importance of Rochester to the Railroad, through activities in the City of Rochester's Maplewood Park--a sacred stop on the Railroad.
Suitable for ages 5 and up, with adult support!
