Cornell Cooperative Extension offers a soil pH/texture test and provides recommendations for modification. A more comprehensive nutrient analysis is available from Dairy One in Ithaca, NY. The reliability of a soil test is only as good as the sample you submit.
The cost for the soil pH test is $5.00 per sample. Test results will be mailed to you within 5-7 business days.
Samples can be brought into our office Monday - Friday between 9 AM - 3 PM. Make sure the soil sample is labeled with your name. The submission form can be downloaded or filled out in our office. Samples can be mailed to our office but must include a submission form and a check for $5.00 made out to CCE Monroe.
