2024 Animal Crackers Registration

The annual Animal Crackers program provides New York youth with fun, hands-on, science-oriented learning experiences on Animal Science topics. This workshop is for 4-H members interested in learning more about their favorite livestock, companion or pet animal species; emphasis on different species groupings and activities varies annually. Participants will learn about different aspects of animal care, interact and exchange information with faculty, staff, students, professional producers, industry experts, and more, utilizing the unique facilities of Cornell University. Hands-on workshops are planned for each species group.

Who: Youth ages 8-12 interested in animals or animal science and their responsible adult(s)

What: Hands on workshops with live animals

Where: CALS Animal Science 507 Tower Road. Frank B. Morrison Hall Ithaca, NY 14853

When: Saturday May 4 8:30am-3pm

Cost: Please note there are no refunds for cancellations or no-show.

• $25/youth and $15/chaperone using cash/check
  • Checks can be mailed to the CCE Monroe office @ 2449 St Paul Blvd, Rochester, NY 14617
  • Cash payments may be made in person during office hours (9am-3pm).
• $30/youth and $20/chaperone using creditcard/PayPal.

If you would like to attend, registration must be submitted by April 23, 2024. Payment is due upon registration and due to the NYS 4-H constraints there can be no refunds or cancellations. Monroe County 4-H is unable to provide a chaperone for this trip so youth and 4-H volunteer leaders are responsible for transportation and attendance at the event.
