4-H Youth Development

Welcome to 4-H in Monroe County!

All youth activities offered by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County fall under the 4-H umbrella, whether they happen during school hours, after school, in the summer, or as a workshop, club, camp, or special event.

Use our internal 4-H menu to explore the purpose of the 4-H program and learn how to join a Community Club. Or perhaps you're visiting this site because you are a school educator or your community organization wants to partner with us. We operate several other programs in addition to our well-known Community Clubs. Leaders and volunteers can find more information about running successful clubs and events, including important forms. And club members can find resources for additional learning and fun outside of club meetings. Just interested in what's on the calendar? Check out our Events & Calendar section.

If you are interested in volunteering with us or joining a club as a member, feel free to reach out to us through the contact information below. Educators are also invited to contact us with inquiries about school-based programming. If you still have questions about these and other programs, we would love to hear from you.

And before you go, be sure to sign up for our monthly Newsletter by filling out the form below.
