Join us on April 18th at 10:00 AM for an informative Garden Program, now featuring a new topic: Invasive Plants in Your Garden, presented by Cornell Master Gardener John Nelson.
This presentation will explore what defines an invasive plant and highlight common invasive species found locally. Learn practical strategies for managing and controlling these plants, understand New York State regulations, and discover which familiar garden pests are now considered invasive. The program will also offer helpful suggestions for replacing invasive plants with beneficial native alternatives.
This free program is open to the public and will be held in the Hansen Nature Center Classroom.
