Lily joins the CCE Monroe Team as a 4-H Educator. She grew up in Maine, where her family raised goats and chickens and she spent her summers working on a neighbor’s berry farm. These experiences gave her a strong sense of connection to the land and a desire to facilitate that connection for others. Lily holds a degree in Sociology & Anthropology from Carleton College, with a focus in environmental anthropology. Since graduating, Lily taught place-based environmental education programs in the Tetons, coached Nordic ski teams in Wyoming and Minnesota, and led outdoor trips for teenagers in Maine. She taught Kindergarten in Rochester for a year before joining CCE Monroe. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, and writing. Lily is so happy to be joining such a wonderful team and continuing to work with the youth of Monroe County!
