Lori Koenick is an Extension Support Specialist with Cornell Cooperative Extension's Harvest New York team, serving Western and Central New York. Her work focuses on urban agriculture, mushrooms, and fresh market vegetables. Prior to joining Harvest New York, she worked with the Cornell Vegetable Program, conducting applied research and providing technical assistance to vegetable growers, and with Cornell Garden-Based Learning and CCE Monroe County, developing community programs focused on horticulture and food systems. Lori earned a B.S. in Applied and Environmental Microbiology from West Virginia University and an M.S. in Plant Pathology from Cornell University, where she studied disease management strategies for New York table beet production.
