Sara recently joined the CCE Monroe County team as our new 4-H Youth Development Program Coordinator. She holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Brigham Young University and a masters in Adolescent Education from SUNY Brockport. With a background in secondary math education and youth development across multiple settings, she continues to build on a long-standing passion for STEM. She also brings years of experience from the nonprofit sector and from working with volunteer-driven organizations. For Sara, 4-H represents the perfect blend of her interests and values. Outside of work, she enjoys tending her houseplants and garden, reading, hiking and camping in the Adirondacks, and doting on her Jack Russell–Shih Tzu mix—who stepped into the spotlight after her three adult daughters left home.
