Garden Rustlers

Have some plants in your garden grown out of control? Are you a new homeowner and overwhelmed with the plant material in your garden? Are you too busy to maintain a garden right now?

The Master Gardener Plant Rustlers are here to help!

We will come to your property and remove the plants you no longer want. We then take the plants clean them up, pot them and sell them at our plant sale which helps to fund our program.

Of course, we cannot take everything because of size or aggressiveness. The plants we are unable to take are:

  • large shrubs over 3 feet tall (NO burning bush, rose of sharon, Japanese barberry, lilacs)
  • lily of the valley
  • bishop's weed
  • pachysandra
  • vinca
  • common daylilies
  • roses (do not transplant well)
  • sweet woodruff (can be dug in the fall)

We will dig plants in the Spring from mid to late April until late May and from early September until mid-October.

To get started, please complete this form. You will be contacted within 5 days.
