4-H Special Events

The 4-H Program hosts some pretty awesome events, including those that welcome the entire community, not just 4-H members. Monroe County 4-H is part of an active regional, state and national 4-H community with many rewarding events to participate in. Check back here frequently to find events designed for fun, service and learning.

Annual Monroe County 4-H Year End Celebration

This event, typically scheduled for early to mid-autumn, recognizes the accomplishments of 4-H members during the previous 4-H year, and provides an opportunity for peer members, volunteer leaders, families, and 4-H staff to celebrate those accomplishments.

Youth are recognized for project completion or advancement, community service, growth, leadership, and more. The purpose of recognition is to encourage and support the efforts of youth members in improving their knowledge and development of life skills, while promoting self-confidence.
