ON-LINE Workshop

Garlic is one of the easiest plants to grow in your vegetable plot, and planting in October allows the garlic to establish its roots prior to winter dormancy. Producing high-quality garlic with large, tasty, full-flavored cloves while avoiding pests and diseases requires skill and knowledge.

During the workshop you will learn about:

  • Planting, caring & harvesting
  • Common pests & diseases
  • Difference between Hardneck & Softneck garlic comparison
  • Curing & storing

Presenter Jarmila Haseler, Agricultural Program Educator, CCE of Monroe will cover the best growing practices to achieve the best garlic harvest.

Participants can pre-order a high quality garlic seed stock for their planting prior to the workshop. We will deliver on the day off to the workshop to the location:
