We’re excited to welcome you for a hands-on exploration of different ways to compost at home!
During this program, we’ll look at different composting methods and learn how they work, what materials they can handle, and what you need to get started. We’ll explore options for different spaces and needs, including traditional outdoor composting and alternatives for smaller spaces.
You’ll have the opportunity to see composting in action, ask questions, and discover which method might work best for you.
We look forward to learning together and finding practical ways to reduce food waste and turn everyday scraps into something useful!
Please dress for the weather, as we hope to spend most part of the event outdoors.
This program is FREE and fully funded by Monroe County. Registration is required.
