Patrick grew up farming in Hall, NY on the land that his ancestors had founded in 1801. In high school he spent his summers working for a local vegetable research farm, and during the summer between college semesters, worked as a seasonal worker for Cornell Agritech in Geneva, NY. After completing his bachelor's degree in social work, he worked as a community navigator in Rochester for a care management company, MC Collaborative. Patrick spent three years as an assistant brewer at Abandon Brewing Company in Penn Yan, NY before going back to school to pursue a master's degree in English Education. He enjoys being outside, theatre, reading, and spending time with his partner and dog, Maple.
