Enjoying Wildlife in the Forest

Forests give us a wonderful opportunity to see and enjoy wildlife. Fortunately, there are many books and other publications that will help you make the forest better for wildlife.

Here are some selected on-line resources that will make your forest / wildlife interest the most it can be:

• Forest Stewardship: Wildlife, from Penn State University Extension, describes the many ways you can attract wildlife to your forest, including different forms of wildlife, planning for wildlife, and integrating timber harvests with wildlife effectively.

• A Forest Landowner's Guide to the Internet: Wildlife provides you with hundreds of internet resources about wildlife management in private forests. Hunting information is included.
